Just over the pass from Jackson Hole Wyoming lies a little ranch, tucked away in a corner of the Teton Valley. I've been to the ranch once before and was so happy to be back. When Louise contacted me about shooting her wedding at Moose Creek Ranch, I have to admit, my heart skipped a beat. Although the mountains down here on the Wasatch Front are gorgeous in their own way, I can't help but miss the Tetons that I came to know so well. I was thrilled to make the trip up to Victor Idaho for Louise and Bo's October wedding.
The decor was simple and the food was fabulous! (Big thanks to Spoons Bistro, y'all are amazing!) Love and celebration ruled the day, despite the threatening rain clouds that passed through the ceremony just before the bride walked down the aisle. Then, like only Louise could do, She brought the sun out to shine on everyone gathered there to witness the exchange of vows.
By the end of the day my face hurt from smiling just as much, if not more, than the bride and groom. The happiness that attended this wedding celebration seeped into my heart like warm, sweet, honey. Thank you Louise, Bo, and your family for allowing me the privilege of photographing your wedding day. May you enjoy many happy years of teaching, skiing, and loving one another.
