Gabby and Michael were wed at one of Rexburg's most beautiful wedding venues, The Atrium, on January 16th, 2016. I had just moved away from Rexburg only a few weeks before, but was glad to make the trip back to Idaho to photograph this awesome couple's wedding. Here's a little bit from Gabby on how she and Michael met:
I met Michael at BYU-Idaho. He was my FHE brother last winter semester which is how we first became friends. We began dating that spring semester. I moved to China in August to do my internship with China Horizons. Mike surprised me by coming all the way to China in September. I had no idea he was planning a visit, nor did I think it was a possibility since China is so far away. He visited for a week and while he was in China he surprised me again by proposing :)
Gabby and Michael's intimate ceremony was reserved and tender. They invited their 25 closest family and friends to witness the event. As the Bishop married them together the room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. After the ceremony, Bride and Groom, now Man and Wife, hugged every guest with tears of joy and laughter in their eyes. We spent the rest of the afternoon frolicking in the snow. No blizzard could have dimmed the brightness of Gabby and Michael's special day! Congratulations you two!
