There's no place like home...

Well, Home sweet home. A nice place to be. That is if I can still call this place my home. Allison has left and we are once again incomplete. My room is still here, but it's all pretty temporary. Everything is temporary. I'm living in semesters, not years. It's weird. Once a routine sets in anywhere, it's time to change it up again. Maybe these college years are just as turbulent for everyone else. Or maybe I am an anomaly. Hopefully not.
Hmmm...So. I wanted to go job hunting today, but my Mom had the car ALL DAY. So when my father came home rubbing his palms together and smacking his lips, I had to disappoint him with a "No dad, no luck today." At least I worked on my resume.
By the way, does anyone know what to put under "skills" in their resume? I am so tempted to stick "nun-chuck skills" in there just to see what happens. But really. "Uh, I can type...20 words a minute....um, I can do a headstand AND a cartwheel. I consider myself to be somewhat of a psychic, actually, I don't know if that helps, but it's a skill I have. Also, my friends say I have a lovely mezzo soprano voice, And I am a surprisingly good henna artist." Skills? Do they really want to hear your skills? How about we change that to qualifications...or better yet, forget resumes and just write a very convincing letter and have an interview. The way someone writes formally can tell a lot about them that bullet-pointed accomplishments cannot.
Well, I guess, I can't have everything my way. And I think I type faster than 20 wpm. Really. I'll try to be a better blogger from now on, if not for my three followers (BAAHAHAHAHHA...thanks guys), then myself.
